Who and Where I am

My name is Kiera and I am an environment enthusiast currently making digital maps and learning about the vast world of geospatial data. I was born in a small northern coastal town called Bella Coola, BC. Since then I have lived in many BC towns and regions. Most recently, I spent three years in Vancouver graduating with a diploma in environmental sciences at Langara College. That has taken me to Castlegar, which I call my home for now. I am working on an advanced diploma in GIS. My main interest/goal with my education is to get involved in using my GIS skills in BC’s natural resources. We will see where this year takes me though. I’m interested in botany, geology, hydrology and bird watching. At any given time I may have a plant or bird ID handbook in my backpack.
Below is a map of the places I have lived in BC!
